SEIL's ISP has its own Electrified Private Railway Siding with 3 lines (2+escape) i.e. two rakes can be unloaded simultaneously. The railway siding is on the Kirandul dedicated iron ore railway line and also connected to the Kothavalsa Junction on the main line. The ISP is located just 40 Km away from three major Visakhapatnam ports (Vizag Port, Vizag Sea Port and Gangavaram Port) allowing for ease and commercial viability for imports of raw material and exports of finished goods.
